Foria is free in Alberta
All you need is a valid health card.
Why no fees?
Unlike some other provinces, Alberta fully reimburses doctors for virtual visits. This means you can see a Foria doctor at zero cost.
In Alberta, Foria’s free services are hormone appointments, and surgical assessments.
Our counselling , voice training, and groups have fees, because these are not covered by Alberta's health system.

Connect Fund is a non-profit organization partnered with Foria that provides financial assistance for 2SLGBTQ+ healthcare costs.
Any community member with healthcare costs that are not covered by provincial health insurance can apply – this includes surgeries, travel and accommodation for surgeries, and counselling.
